This week, Andy answers a question from someone who considers herself a “fixer” and tends to over-give in relationships. She wants to know how to let go of the expected results from helping people and how to influence them in a positive way.

Andy also offers advice to new step-mother who is struggling to connect with her 5-year old step-daughter. The child is often hurtful with her words (even with a limited vocabulary), but the step-mother wants to find a way around that and build a good relationship.
